nkt cables has approximately 2,000 employees and
a turnover of approx. 700 million Euro. Our company develops, manufactures
and markets low, medium and high voltage cables and accessories,
OPGW, PVC- and halogen-free cables as well as flexible cords,
rubber insulated fire resistant cables, joints, fittings and accessories
as well as contact wire for catenary systems.
nkt cables is owned by NKT Holding A/S in Denmark. The
NKT operation in Denmark has more than 6.000 employees and
a turnover over 1 billion Euro.
With the head office in Cologne, Germany and manufacturing
bases in five European countries (Denmark, Germany, Norway, the
Czech Republic and Poland) and China, nkt cables is a market-orientated
high-technology enterprise for power- and data cables as well
as catenary systems with global ambitions.
NKT Cables Ltd., Changzhou (NCL), founded
in 1995, is specializing in the manufacture of medium and high
voltage cables as well as contact wire for catenary systems of
electrified railways. Wholly owned by nkt Cables Group in Cologne,
Germany, we have a registered capital of RMB350million and a
total investment of RMB400million. This plant, covering an area
of 50,000m 2 and with a floor space up to 40,000m 2, is provided
with production lines that are completely imported from Europe.
NCL , having about 260 employees and a turnover
over RMB600million, is developing very fast year after year.
With the full support from nkt cables in financing,
management and technology, it is the only foreign-owned enterprise
operated by local management team with European management model
in the power cable and wire industry in China.
